Terms and Conditions

1. Definitions

• App: The Howe: Cleaning Schedule mobile application
• User: Any individual who accesses or uses the App
• Subscription: Paid access to premium features offered through the App
• Apple / Google: Apple App Store or Google Play Store, depending on platform

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use the App.

By using the App, you represent and warrant that you meet this requirement and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.

3. Account Registration

To access certain features, you must create an account.

• Authentication is provided via Sign in with Apple
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account
• You are responsible for all activities occurring under your account

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

4. App Functionality

The App provides tools for:

• Creating and managing cleaning schedules
• Receiving reminders and notifications
• Managing user profiles
• Accessing optional paid features through subscriptions

We do not guarantee that the App will always be available, uninterrupted, or error-free.

5. Subscriptions and Payments

5.1 Paid Features

Certain features of the App are available only through a paid subscription.

5.2 Payment Processing

All payments are processed exclusively through:

• Apple App Store (iOS)
• Google Play Store (Android, if applicable)

The Developer does not collect or store payment information.

5.3 Auto-Renewal

Subscriptions are auto-renewable unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.

Renewal charges are applied by Apple or Google according to their terms.

5.4 Managing Subscriptions

Users may manage or cancel subscriptions through their App Store or Play Store account settings.

The Developer cannot modify or cancel subscriptions on behalf of users.

6. Free Trials (If Applicable)

If a free trial is offered:

• It automatically converts into a paid subscription unless cancelled
• Any unused portion of the trial is forfeited upon purchase

7. Refunds

Refunds are handled exclusively by Apple or Google in accordance with their respective refund policies.

The Developer does not issue refunds directly.

8. User Obligations

You agree not to:

• Use the App for unlawful purposes
• Attempt to reverse engineer or exploit the App
• Interfere with the App's security or infrastructure
• Upload malicious or harmful content

9. User Content

You retain ownership of any content you upload (e.g., profile photo).

By uploading content, you grant the Developer a limited, non-exclusive license to use it solely for providing App functionality.

10. Intellectual Property

All intellectual property rights related to the App, including but not limited to:

• Software
• Design
• Logos
• Trademarks

are owned by the Developer or licensed to the Developer.

You are granted a limited, non-transferable, non-exclusive license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes.

11. Termination

You may terminate your account at any time by deleting it within the App.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to the App if:

• These Terms are violated
• Required by law
• The App is discontinued

12. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "as is" and "as available".

We disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including but not limited to:

• Fitness for a particular purpose
• Accuracy or reliability of content
• Availability or performance

13. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Developer shall not be liable for:

• Indirect or consequential damages
• Loss of data
• Loss of profits
• Service interruptions

Total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by the user for the subscription in the preceding 12 months.

14. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Developer from any claims, damages, or liabilities arising from:

• Misuse of the App
• Violation of these Terms
• Violation of applicable laws

15. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time.

Updated Terms will be published within the App and become effective immediately.

Continued use of the App constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

16. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws, without regard to conflict of law principles.
